Strange Craft: Stuffed and Mounted in Pleasantville, the tale of J, rarely called Jessica, Parker, a 15-year-old girl returning to the home that one year before claimed her father's life. Prepared to pack her things and move on, J discovers evidence that her father may yet be alive. J's search for him lands her, and her younger sister Sara, on board a spectral steam engine straight out of legend. Also joined by her larger than life Aunt Till and their dimwitted family dog, the train itself proves to be nothing short of a haunted house on wheels. While aboard J comes face to face with the mysterious sea captain forever cursed to ride the eerie train, a man who bares an uncanny resemblance to her dead father.
J has questions the Captain is unwilling to answer. Determined to uncover the truth J finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation into a string of gruesome murders plaguing an isolated mountain village. J finds herself the next target and her only hope of surviving lies with the Captain, who also happens to be her #1 suspect. Even if J manages to survive, and helps to bring the killers to justice, she'll still face the greatest mystery of all, who is the Captain Strange?
